Like I said, I love repeat clients! Brittney asked if I’d do a little mini session and get some quick photos of her little girl for her 1st birthday invitations…then we’ll be taking more of her one year photos during their family session in a few weeks! Her little girl is a gorgeous baby, which made my job easy!!! She gave me big smiles, then the minute she was off the chair, she took off! I loved her pink and zeebra tutu (which happens to be the theme of her party) and think I might go and get one for Mattison! Here’s a few of my favorites…

Each year my dad’s side of the family gets together for a family reunion daytrip to the beach! My cousin, Amy, was in town for the beach trip and asked if I’d be able to take some photos of her cute little 4 month old daughter! She is seriously such a good baby…she was a champ during the session and gave lots of smiles. Then, once we got to the second outfit, she was letting us know that she was beginning to have enough of the picture taking! I love how they turned out, here are some of my favorites…

I love this one, such a sweet little girl!

And I love baby feet!

Such a cute expression!

***First off, if any of you are wanting family photos taken for Christmas cards, let me know as soon as possible (push on the tab at the top that says “contact”)! I will be out of commission most of November with the birth of my lil’ man, so it’s best that you contact me to make an appointment sometime in September and October.
I think that one of the greatest compliments as a photographer, is when clients call you for another session! I feel as though over the course of this past year that I’ve watched Ashley’s adorable kids grow up. Ashley contacted me to see if I would be able to take her little man’s 1 year photos as well as family photos! We met at Downtown Disney in Anaheim, CA.
Isn’t he too cute?! He wasn’t really willing to give me smiles, instead he looked at me like, “who is that crazy lady with that camera!”

I love his slight smile in the one on the left…

Her kids have such gorgeous eyes!

We were cracking up at his little hand on his bip…too cute!

Seriously, what a good looking family they are!!!

And the gorgeous lil’ Miss!

This was such a fun session…I LOVE working with families! Thanks again for letting me capture these memories of your family!!!

I had the pleasure of taking wedding photos for my sister-in-law, Amy, and her husband, Sam. They were married in the Oquirrh Mountain LDS Temple. Their day was beautiful, and I am SO thankful that I was able to be a part of it! I love Amy and Sam and am so excited for their new adventures that await them in their life together!!!

Exiting the temple as Mr. & Mrs!!!

I loved Amy’s shoes…

Life has been CRAZY busy lately! I have had many sessions to edit (and many more to still blog), plus I’ve been out of town 3 times in a month and a half’s time frame (which equals time away from my computer to work)! Also, we’re getting ready for our little man to come…he’ll be here by November 2nd (we’ll know for sure once it gets closer since it’s a repeat c-section). So, I’m frantically getting things finished before he comes. Speaking of which, I will be out of commision most likely the entire month of November, so if you want Christmas card pictures taken, be sure to let me know and we can do them sometime in the following 2 months!
I can finally post these bridal photos since the wedding is said and done! I seriously love Amy…I couldn’t ask for a better SIL! During my visit to Utah for 4th of July, we took Amy’s bridal photos. We decided to take them at the north shore Daybreak Lake, which is seriously such a gorgeous area! Amy was a beautiful bride! Here are some of my favorites from the session.

While visiting Utah I also got to take a few shots of my cute little niece, Riley, or “Ri-Ri” as my daughter calls her! She kept giving me this cheeser smile while crinkling her nose…too cute!!!

My sister-in-law Amy and her fiance Sam were a lot of fun to work with…there seriously never was a dull moment, and they weren’t afraid to be in front of the camera! They truly are perfect for each other! I am so excited to shoot their wedding in August!!!

This my friends is where Amy and I got poison oak. As a sidenote, I panic when I see poison oak during sessions (only because I got it before and it’s not fun). So, I had looked carefully around this area, and in the moment I thought of what a great shot it would be to be peaking through the weeds on them…well, I didn’t look before I did this and suddenly I looked down to see poison oak surrounding my arms. That night my arms broke out in rashes (from wrist to elbow) and then Amy broke out in a rash on her right cheek…just before her bridals the next morning. But, luckily both of us didn’t blister, so it wasn’t as bad as we had feared, lol!

In love with the rays in this one…

We had fun knocking on people’s doors to see if we could use their porches or yards…

Congrats Amy and Sam…I’m so happy for you guys and can’t wait for your soon approaching wedding!!!
While in Utah, I also had the opportunity to take photographs of our good friends Chase and Angela, and their cute little girl! I love to watch new parents interact with their little one…so much love!!! We took these photos at the Daybreak Lake. I love how they turned out!
She always had smiles for her mom and dad…

Love how she is looking at the camera and smiling in the one on the left.

Such a cute girl! I can’t wait to watch our little girls grow up together in the years to come!!!

Lexi and I have been friends since our freshman year at BYU…we both lived on the same floor in our dorms! The ironic thing is that her sister married my cousin, so I guess you could say that we are in a sense family!!! Lexi asked if I’d take photos of her daughter, who just turned one! I was so excited…just look at what a gorgeous little girl she is, seriously!!!
Here are some of my favorites from the session…

Had to get a shot of her and her favorite bear…

I was SO excited when Ashley, my husband’s cousin, asked me to take her family photos as well as her daughter’s 18 month photos! They are seriously such an adorable family! We decided to take their photosat Gardner Village in West Jordan. Here are some of my favorites from our fun session together!

One of my favorites!!!

Such a good looking family…

Can I just say that they were so great to work with…love when I don’t always have to be giving direction so that I can capture real moments! Well, I told Ashley and Matt that I wanted to get some shots of just the two of them, and they started dancing together…love it!!!

We didn’t a little outfit change for her photos…doesn’t she look cute?!

She loved smelling the flowers…

Thanks again for allowing me to take photos of your cute family!!!
